Volunteer Opportunities

Join us for a quarterly work party.  Groups or individuals are needed to help us with minor repairs, painting, adding to or seasonally helping with our landscaping, cleaning or replacing old toys and books.

Assist in the preparation of mailings.  Communicating with our supporters, clients, and partners is vital to Kinship House operations.  Help is routinely needed in the designing, printing and collating of mailing materials.  Even having one or two extra pairs of hands makes all the difference. 

Become a Board Member.  Join a terrific team of ten who lead our mission!  Meetings are once a month.  There are also opportunities to participate in a subcommittee or special project.  Please call 503.460.2796 x.11 to reach our Executive Director for more information. 

Help provide healthy snacks for our young clients and visitors! Many of Kinship House guests come with their families, some come with a transport service. Most all are hungry ! Our kitchen is welcoming and kids love to help themselves to juice packs, pretzels, animal crackers, cheese sticks, and stickers.
