Whether your pajamas are striped or plaid, cozy or cool, footed or not, Mattress Firm and the Ticket to Dream Foundation invite you to roll out of bed and take part in the company’s 12th annual Pajama Bowl for Foster Kids on Sunday, April 2nd! Your donations will help provide foster kids the little extras that make childhood fun — whether it’s joining a team sport, taking music lessons or reuniting with a sibling at summer camp. With the generous help of nearly 6,000 participants, the Pajama Bowl has raised over $1 million to date. So grab your friends, family, fun PJs and let’s bowl!
How to Participate
Just get together a team of up to 5 people, all ages welcome, and start fundraising for a great cause! Each team must raise or donate a minimum of $250 (that’s only $50 per person), with $50 due at time of registration. We encourage all bowlers to continue collecting donations until the day of the Pajama Bowl. Please bring additional donations to the Pajama Bowl and present them when you sign in.
The Grand Prize of a Simmons Beautyrest™ World Class Mattress set will be awarded to each member on the bowling team that accumulates the most points overall. Great Runner Up prizes will also be awarded, along with opportunities to win gifts throughout the event. A team’s total score is determined by adding up its combined bowling score, plus 100 points for every $50 it raises over the minimum pledge amount, 25 points for every player who wears pajamas, and 50 points for registering before March 6. Any five-person team whose members all wear pajamas will earn an additional 100 points.
Use your creative side and come up with fun pajama ideas for your team! Teams that have all 5 members in pajamas get an extra 100 points plus there will be prizes given out to the team with the best themed PJ’s! Pajamas are not required to participate in the event but please remember that this is a family event and if you chose to wear pajamas your selection should be appropriate for all age levels. In order to receive points for wearing pajamas you must be wearing clothing that is sold specifically as sleepwear. Those that are not wearing family appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate.
