Volunteer Spotlight: Angela DeVita

Kinship House is blessed with a group of truly amazing volunteers!  Some community members pop in periodically and others help out on a more regular basis.  We will be spotlighting these Kinship House Heroes over the next year as a way to honor their efforts and dedication to our organization. We want the world to know how proud we are to have these incredible folks helping us do our work in supporting foster and adopted kids.

Our board members dedicate hours of volunteer time to lead our organization.  Angela DeVita joined us this past October.  In her role as a board member, she serves on our board’s development committee and our auction planning committee.

Professionally, Angela currently serves as Vice President Treasury Management Officer for Northwest Bank. She has over 18 years of banking experience within various departments and business groups and currently specializes in Depository Services for commercial clients.  Angela has spent the last 14 years of her banking career within the community banking business model bringing the best in treasury management products and service delivery. She is a well-known connector in the business community, recognized for facilitating meaningful introductions and developing deep and enduring relationships. Personally, Angela stays actively involved volunteering for nonprofits in various ways. She is a native of Portland and enjoys all the great things the Northwest has to offer.

One of her fondest memories from childhood is running through an open field while riding her horse. The horse was a beautiful brown chestnut, half Arabian and half Morgan with a perfect white spot down his nose. As a child, Angela was fearless, running as fast as she could and jumping on the horse bareback and exploring new trails. Her horse was one of her favorite childhood memories.

Kinship House thanks Angela for her time and service as a member of our board of directors!
