Volunteer Spotlight: Jamie Kilberg

Our board members dedicate hours of volunteer time to lead our organization. Jamie Kilberg of Kauffman Kilberg LLC joined the Kinship House board almost six years ago in February 2012. In his role as a board member, he serves as the board’s secretary and helps out with various fundraising activities.

Jamie is an attorney at Kauffman Kilberg LLC, practicing white-collar criminal defense and employment litigation. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2000, and from Wesleyan University in 1997. He moved to Oregon in 2010 after eight years in our nation’s capital. Jamie is passionate about children’s mental health and feels very fortunate his two sons will grow up in a community like Portland.

Jamie loves to take his boys camping to the central Oregon coast Battle Ground Lake State Park in southwest Washington in 2016.  The coast was perfect and Battle Ground was pouring rain!  They made the most of both trips and look forward to more camping every summer.

We thank Jamie for his support of our work in supporting new beginnings and healthy families.  If you are interested in learning more about how to be engaged as a volunteer with Kinship House, click here.
